Senior Product Owner, Store Systems
Job Description
Own Store Systems product strategy and delivery for in-store technology, from planning through multi-year global rollouts.
Responsibilities
- Drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Store Systems platforms.
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle delivery, including discovery, MVP definition, validation, launch, and scale.
- Convert business objectives into prioritized epics, user stories, and release plans within Agile delivery models.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, QA, architecture, operations, and relevant business stakeholders.
- Define and monitor product and operational KPIs to guide decisions and measure value from early stages.
- Assess market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to shape strategic direction.
- Communicate with stakeholders across levels to build alignment across global teams.
- Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and delivery risks across implementation and rollout waves.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Engineering, Business Systems Analysis, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience owning digital products from implementation through scaled rollout.
- Strong product sense, with the ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities.
- Hands-on Agile experience using Scrum and/or Kanban, including backlog ownership, prioritization, and sprint/release planning.
- Analytical, data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and writing/documentation skills.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and align cross-functional teams.
- Experience in retail technology, POS ecosystems, or omnichannel environments is preferred.
- In-store retail experience is a strong bonus.

- New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
- Work from Anywhere (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year
Pay Range
- USD 138,500 - 207,500 per yearly
- Lawrence, MA Corp Only Pay Range: $138,500.00 - $173,000.00 - $207,500.00 Annual
- Actual base pay may vary based on relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and other factors
