Sr Workplace Benefits Product Manager - Equity Compensation Financial Reporting

Bank of America is recruiting for a Senior Workplace Benefits Product Manager focused on Equity Plan Services. This onsite role in Jacksonville, Florida offers a salary range of USD 104,000 to 171,600 per year and requires a Bachelor's degree plus 5 to 7+ years in product management. The position centers on defining financial reporting solutions for equity-based compensation for corporate clients and coordinating across regulatory, engineering, operations, and client service teams to deliver impactful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert on ASC 718 and related accounting standards, including ASC 260, translating regulatory requirements into scalable product functionality.
- Understand system calculations and dependencies as they relate to equity-based accounting requirements, including Expense, Deferred Tax, Earnings Per Share Dilution, Disclosures, Proxy reporting, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan requirements.
- Identify opportunities to enhance product capabilities, improve automation, and differentiate in the market.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate emerging regulatory changes and proactively incorporate them into the product roadmap.
- Work closely with engineering, QA, operations, and client service teams to ensure product success.
- Partner with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality product features from concept through release.
- Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned to business outcomes.
- Lead backlog prioritization and ensure delivery of high-impact capabilities.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial models and calculations through rigorous validation and testing oversight.
- Act as a product authority in client engagements, articulating functionality, methodologies, and the value proposition.
- Collaborate with sales and client relationship teams to support onboarding, solution design, and complex inquiries.
- Contribute to go-to-market strategy, including product positioning and responses to RFPs.
- Own and maintain client-facing reports and user guides.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in product management, preferably within financial services or enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with equity compensation accounting systems or related financial reporting platforms.
- Demonstrated experience delivering product features end-to-end in partnership with engineering teams.
- Experience working directly with clients and supporting product-driven business growth.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
