Job Description

Walmart Marketplace is looking for a Staff Product Manager focused on Brand Protection to help define and lead product strategy for protecting brands across Marketplace. The role sits at the intersection of customer, seller, and brand needs, using self-service and automation to turn brand protection into a growth advantage.

Working onsite in Bellevue, WA, you will shape how Walmart safeguards intellectual property and combats brand abuse while supporting legitimate sellers and enabling faster, more consistent case investigation by Walmart associates.

Role overview

  • Define and lead the product strategy for how Walmart protects brands across Marketplace.
  • Support confidence for brands to invest, build, and grow their businesses on Walmart while their intellectual property, products, and brand equity are protected from bad actors and infringement.
  • Build and evolve products that protect against intellectual property infringement and other forms of brand abuse while keeping participation fair for legitimate sellers.

What you will focus on

  • Understand the needs of customers, sellers, brands, and Walmart associates and design experiences that protect brands and customer trust while enabling legitimate sellers to grow with minimal friction.
  • Reimagine historically manual experiences by giving brands better tools to protect themselves and enabling associates to investigate and resolve issues faster, more consistently, and at scale.
  • Look beyond enforcement to identify how Brand Protection capabilities strengthen Walmart’s value proposition to brands.

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including a track record of defining strategy and delivering complex, high-impact products at scale.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace ecosystems.
  • Experience in eCommerce and marketplaces, with valuable experience in brand protection, intellectual property, trust & safety, risk, or adjacent domains.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML and automation, including using technology to improve decision-making, automate complex workflows, and build scalable products.
  • Proven ability to take complex, ambiguous problems across multiple users and workflows and translate them into clear product strategies, scalable solutions, and intuitive experiences.
  • Education and experience fit (one of the following):
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area plus 7 years of product management experience.
    • 9 years of product management experience in a related area.

Compensation and benefits

  • Annual salary range: $132,000 - $264,000.
  • Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
