Staff Product Manager for Builder Solutions Onboarding and Builder Tools, based onsite in Middleton, WI.
Responsibilities
- Steer strategy and delivery for Builder Solutions Onboarding and Builder Tools, aligning related systems, processes, and teams.
- Develop clear guidance aligned with organizational product goals to keep teams aligned and enable sound decision-making.
- Define standardized ways of working that promote consistency, transparent communication, and high-quality results.
- Balance near-term delivery with long-term architecture, operational efficiency, cost controls, and customer trust, making explicit trade-offs with thoughtful judgment.
- Influence cross-team decisions by articulating domain strategy and adoptable frameworks to maintain alignment.
- Resolve cross-team conflicts by grounding decisions in customer trust, data, processes, and long-term business impact.
- Strengthen collaboration by improving written communication, decision quality, and constructive debate to enable clearer alignment and dependable execution.
- Mentor fellow product managers and senior PMs.
- Demonstrate strong ownership by leading through ambiguity, resolving complex issues, and sustaining long-term product and business health.
- Define domain-level direction and guidelines to help teams move faster and make better decisions.
- Identify and resolve intricate customer, operational, or architectural issues to deliver durable improvements and long-term value.
- Enhance team effectiveness by refining decision processes, success metrics, and delivery practices.
- Develop deep customer insights and translate them into clear direction and actionable product requirements.
- Establish mechanisms to monitor product performance and inform future iterations.
- Collaborate with senior engineering, design, sales, and business leaders to align priorities, address challenges, and provide clear direction across teams.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to guide decisions.
Requirements
- 6+ Years of demonstrated success as a Product Manager or related role.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts, weigh trade-offs, and guide cross-functional teams toward aligned decisions.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify trends, assess opportunities and risks, and shape product direction.
- Highly adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity; helps teams stay focused through change and make clear, grounded decisions in uncertain contexts.
- Advanced problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with the capability to decompose complex challenges and guide others toward effective solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across cross-functional teams and with internal and external stakeholders.
