Job Description
Paradigm is seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager to own Builder Solutions Onboarding and Builder Tools. Based in Seattle, WA, this onsite role guides the overarching vision, strategy, and cross-functional execution needed to streamline onboarding journeys and empower builders with robust tooling. The position emphasizes balancing immediate delivery with durable, scalable product health across teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategic direction for Builder Solutions Onboarding and Builder Tools, aligning related systems, workflows, and cross-functional teams.
- Provide clear, goal-aligned guidance that keeps teams aligned and supports sound decision-making.
- Establish standardized ways of working to improve consistency, communication clarity, and delivery quality.
- Balance near-term delivery with longer-term architecture, operational efficiency, cost controls, and customer trust, articulating trade-offs with thoughtful judgment.
- Influence cross-team decisions by articulating the domain strategy and decision frameworks teams adopt to stay aligned.
- Resolve inter-team conflicts by grounding decisions in customer trust, data, mechanisms, and long-term impact.
- Strengthen collaboration by improving written communication, decision quality, and constructive debate to enable clearer alignment and reliable execution.
- Mentor fellow product colleagues and senior PMs to strengthen the broader product leadership capability.
- Demonstrate strong ownership by leading through ambiguity, addressing complex issues, and safeguarding the long-term health of the product and business.
- Define domain-level direction and guidelines that help teams move faster and make better decisions.
- Identify and resolve complex customer, operational, or architectural issues to create durable improvements that unlock long-term value and efficiency.
- Enhance team effectiveness by refining decision processes, success metrics, and delivery practices.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and translate insights into clear direction and actionable product requirements.
- Establish mechanisms to track product performance and assess success, ensuring insights inform future iterations.
- Collaborate with senior engineering, design, sales, and business leaders to align priorities, resolve challenges, and provide clear direction across teams.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to guide decision-making.
Requirements
- At least six years of demonstrated success as a Product Manager or in a related role.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts, outline trade-offs, and guide teams toward clear, aligned decisions.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify trends, evaluate opportunities and risks, and shape product direction.
- High adaptability and comfort with ambiguity, helping teams stay focused through change and make grounded decisions in uncertain contexts.
- Advanced problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to decompose complex challenges and guide others toward effective solutions.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships across cross-functional teams and with internal and external stakeholders.
