Technical Product Manager, Onshape Ecommerce & CPQ Platforms

PTC is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead Onshape’s Ecommerce and CPQ platforms, shaping the systems that connect product sign-up through purchasing, trials, provisioning, entitlements, and handoff from sales to provisioned accounts. This role partners with engineering and business teams to define requirements, manage integrations (including Salesforce CPQ), analyze performance using SQL, and deliver improvements to conversion, billing and payment processing, and lifecycle workflows.

What you will do

• Define how the Onshape product system integrates with downstream go-to-market platforms, including Salesforce and the CPQ platform, and maintain abstraction layers between systems.
• Own the roadmap for sign-up, in-product purchasing, trials, and provisioning, progressing from requirements through delivery and measurement.
• Define and manage implementation plans for new product offerings to be quoted and presented in-product, identifying key deal business rules and coordinating with internal data teams to establish pricing and revenue recognition definitions in the product master.
• Identify and implement improvements to current deal desk and provisioning processes within Salesforce.
• Own administration of the Salesforce CPQ platform.
• Improve conversion across the self-serve funnel and align with Business Operations so sales quotes and closed deals result in correct provisioning without manual intervention.
• Own technical product requirements for in-product payment processing.
• Deliver capabilities Business Operations and Finance require for renewals, downgrades, dunning, collections, and deprovisioning.
• Write requirements and user stories, and review technical designs with engineering teams.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, order operations, and business operations to gather requirements and agree on priorities.
• Prioritize the backlog in Jira and work with engineering through an Agile release process.
• Use SQL to query the data warehouse and investigate conversion, funnel performance, and provisioning issues.
• Triage problems in purchase and provisioning flows and drive them to resolution.
• Manage minor enhancements and business rule changes to the Salesforce CPQ platform.

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in product management or technical program management, or providing technical support for e-commerce and CPQ systems.
• Experience with SaaS commercial systems such as self-serve purchasing, subscription provisioning, entitlements, or billing.
• Experience integrating a product with a CRM or CPQ platform.
• Ability to understand data and system designs, including how systems interact through APIs and other integrations.
• Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience analyzing data in a data warehouse.
• Working knowledge of SaaS subscription mechanics, including ARR, plan changes, add-ons, and usage-based pricing.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, business, or equivalent experience.

Compensation and location

Location: Boston, MA (hybrid).
Salary: USD 120,000 to 180,000 per year.
