Staff Product Manager, Buyer Experience

Lexington, KY Full time Posted 5h ago

Job Description

Xometry is hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead enterprise Buyer Experience and deliver a frictionless quote-to-order experience for large accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Own the enterprise market segment for large enterprises using Xometry to manufacture custom parts.
  • Design self-service and human-assisted buyer experiences that reduce friction while preserving enterprise controls and required processes.
  • Define and run a 6-12 month forward strategy for the enterprise segment.
  • Secure cross-functional buy-in across engineering, design, data science, category management, marketing, sales, legal/compliance, and customer success.
  • Account for measurable outcomes that make quoting and ordering frictionless for large accounts.
  • Own the enterprise quote-to-order funnel end to end, from procurement intake and account onboarding through repeat ordering.
  • Run structured experiments on RFQ intake flows and multi-stakeholder approval steps, using results to improve enterprise activation, conversion, and account expansion.
  • Collect feedback through interviews, surveys, and usage data, then translate findings into creative, testable solutions.
  • Identify and define new problem spaces across the enterprise buyer lifecycle to address complex pain points and support enterprise growth.
  • Define and own product strategy and roadmap with clear outcomes and milestones for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Set desired outcomes and define KPIs for each initiative.
  • Monitor results closely, adjust priorities in real time, and synthesize findings into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Drive alignment and adoption across engineering, design, data science, category management, and marketing, using rollout strategy, in-app education, and customer communication.
  • Operate spec-first development and translate the experimentation roadmap into structured, machine-executable specs that AI agents (Claude, Cursor) can build against.
  • Partner with marketing, design, engineering, and product analytics to prototype, validate, and ship statistically sound changes quickly.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with direct ownership of an enterprise B2B or two-sided marketplace product.
  • Experience working with large enterprise customers, including building solutions that fit complex organizational structures and workflows.
  • AI-native hands-on fluency with Claude and Cursor, with evidence of compressing the path from idea to shipped, validated product change.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills with systems thinking for managing complexity and trade-offs across multiple product areas.
  • Ability to make decisions under ambiguity by turning loosely defined problems into testable hypotheses and plans.
  • Strong communication and influence skills, capable of aligning senior leadership and cross-functional partners without direct authority.
  • Proven ability to drive change in a fast-paced, scaling organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Signals we look for

  • Ability to walk through an enterprise feature or workflow you redesigned, including the friction removed and before/after results.

  • Experience working in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics, or evidence of quickly learning unfamiliar operational domains.
