Accounting Product Manager
Job Description
Join a collaborative Accounting team within eero (Amazon Devices & Services) where mentorship and autonomy go hand in hand with a clear mission: modernize financial operations as eero scales. In this role, you will drive planning, execution, and delivery of accounting systems and process automation initiatives, partnering closely with Accounting, Tax, Finance, Fintech, and Engineering. You will help raise the bar on month-end close, reconciliation quality, and integration readiness across shared systems used for consolidation.

- Identify which close activities to automate, establish sequencing and dependencies, and own the build-or-buy approach (for example, tech build, a BI pipeline, or third-party platforms such as BlackLine)
- Define requirements for reconciliation automation, journal-entry workflows, and controls, ensuring outputs are auditable and usable by the Accounting team
- Collaborate with BI/BIE on shared metric and data definitions to prevent reconciliation issues across eero, Fintech, and Amazon consolidation systems
- Own product and technical delivery for accounting-system integrations and financial-data feeds into downstream reporting and consolidation platforms
- Define and ship accounting metadata (entity, cost center, product line, GL mapping) to support accurate downstream reporting and consolidation
- Ensure maintenance, scalability, and documentation so integrations remain the default, low-friction path for Accounting teams

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience as a product manager or owner with ownership of roadmap strategy and definition
- End-to-end product delivery experience

- Strong analytical skills, comfortable with SQL, data analysis, and financial modeling
Tools you’ll use
SQL, BlackLine, and Oracle/NetSuite
Benefits
- Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line)
