Job Description
The Digital Platforms Product Manager at Avanos Medical oversees strategic governance for public websites and internal platforms, directing the development of web, mobile, and backend systems while managing DevOps and cloud infrastructure. This on site role is based in Alpharetta, GA, with additional duties in Midtown Atlanta.

Responsibilities
- Own the complete digital architecture for public web properties, mobile apps, and internal platforms.
- Execute comprehensive audits of existing web infrastructure and digital experiences to identify modernization, consolidation, and scalability opportunities, while assessing security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Establish governance models covering content, security, compliance, and performance.
- Define and enforce standards, best practices, and development frameworks across digital platforms.
- Create clear team roles, standard operating procedures, onboarding materials, and documentation.
- Guide strategic vendor relationships, agency collaborations, and internal partnerships.
- Architect and oversee enterprise scale content management ecosystems such as WordPress, including management of custom themes, plugins, and multisite configurations; hands-on development is not a primary responsibility.
- Lead cross platform mobile app development using React Native for iOS and Android with end to end deployment capabilities.
- Deliver immersive front end solutions using React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and tools like A-Frame or Three.js.
- Manage secure and scalable backend services in Node.js, PHP, and MySQL/SQL environments.
- Drive the CI/CD strategy with GitHub Actions to ensure consistency across development, testing, and production.
- Maintain scalable, secure, high performing cloud infrastructure, with a preferred emphasis on Azure (AWS/Docker are acceptable alternatives).
- Oversee domain and subdomain management, SSL lifecycle, and global DNS architecture.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and enterprise security protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience across digital ecosystems (web and backend) with cross functional leadership, including 3–5 years in strategic or technical leadership roles.
- Knowledge of e commerce platforms (SFDC Commerce Cloud, Shopify, etc.) with experience guiding implementations and technical decision making.
- Hands on experience with React, Node.js, MySQL/SQL, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Proven experience in website security management, domain governance, and accessibility compliance, not merely familiarity.
- Direct experience implementing and maintaining cookie policy libraries (OneTrust, Cookiebot) and related compliance workflows.
- Strong knowledge of CSC domain management, DNS, and SSL configuration.

Salary
The anticipated base pay range for this position is USD 107,681 to 179,432 per year. In addition, there is eligibility for an incentive compensation program and benefits. Pay ranges may vary by location.
