Director, Product Operations
Job Description
Procare Solutions is building product execution infrastructure that connects product investment to measurable business outcomes across its four platforms. In this hybrid role in Denver, you will lead product operations programs that improve launch coordination, decision-making, and impact tracking, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer.
What you will own
- Own the release calendar across Online, Desktop, SCW, and ChildPlus, coordinating launches to minimize customer disruption and support cross-platform initiatives.
- Define and scale release rhythms, launch readiness criteria, and post-launch review processes as the product team grows.
- Run the operational backbone of the product organization, including cross-functional meeting cadences, decision logs, escalation paths, and inter-team coordination.
- Drive adoption of tooling and AI-driven workflows that speed up understanding of customer behavior and help the team make faster decisions.
- Build and maintain an outcome scorecard that ties each major product initiative to a specific business metric, target, and timeline, shifting from output tracking to impact measurement.
- Track and report value realization for launched products by confirming whether the investment moved the metric it was intended to improve.
- Partner with the CPO and Finance to align product investment modeling with TAM expansion priorities.
- Own internal communication of product decisions so Sales, Customer Success, and Support can accurately represent what is built and when.
- Partner with cross-functional readiness teams to connect operational readiness to launch execution.
- Identify and close gaps between product, engineering, marketing, and customer success, especially around launches, rollouts, and customer-facing commitments.
How you will work
- Outcome orientation: connect processes to business results, measure what matters, and continuously close the loop between investment and impact.
- Cross-functional leadership: build trust across engineering, product, finance, and customer-facing teams without direct authority, aligning stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Operational rigor: create scalable systems for release calendars, prioritization models, and metrics frameworks, and hold the organization to the processes put in place.
- Data fluency: comfortable with quantitative analysis; build models in Excel or equivalent tools and translate data into clear executive-ready narratives.
- Bias for action: move forward with the resources available and address problems without waiting for perfect conditions.
- Customer-centric thinking: keep the operational impact top of mind for a childcare director, a teacher, or a family.
- Empowered communicator: write clearly, present to executives, and run effective meetings that convert complexity into actionable outputs.
Minimum qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in product operations, program management, business operations, or a closely related role within a software product company.
- Demonstrated experience owning cross-functional execution programs involving engineering, product, and go-to-market teams.
- Experience building outcome-based metrics frameworks and connecting product investment to business results.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tools (Excel, SQL, or BI tools) and operational tooling (Jira, Confluence, or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Computer Science, Product Management, or a related field.
- Experience at a B2B SaaS company with multiple product lines or platforms.
- Background in early childhood education, K-12, or adjacent vertical software markets.
- Experience working alongside an AI strategy or within organizations actively adopting AI-driven development workflows.
