Bitus Labs offers an onsite Game Product Manager role in Irvine, CA, focused on end-to-end game delivery and seamless external partnerships. This position emphasizes clear milestones, cross-functional collaboration, and accountable ownership—from internal planning to platform integrations, SDKs, payments, and compliance. You will be the single point of contact for external partners and help align engineering, design, art, QA, and business teams across titles. The role comes with a competitive annual salary and a benefits package that supports long-term financial security and comprehensive health coverage.

  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Retirement plan
  • Vision insurance

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end project plans for assigned titles, defining milestones, baselines, staffing needs, and release calendars
  • Lead the production cadence with milestone reviews, build acceptance, and release readiness checks
  • Continuously monitor scope, schedule, and quality risks; maintain a visible risk log and drive mitigation before slippage occurs
  • Evaluate scope changes by quantifying impact on milestones and require explicit trade-offs
  • Act as the sole interface for external partnerships, overseeing onboarding, SDK integrations, payment channels, and compliance interfaces
  • Manage the full integration lifecycle from requirements through go-live and post-launch stabilization
  • Coordinate regular syncs with partner technical and business teams, centralizing external communications to avoid information gaps across products
  • Translate partner API docs, integration guides, and certification requirements into precise PRDs with clear acceptance criteria for engineers
  • Set and manage partner expectations on timelines, scope, and technical constraints; coordinate joint debugging and testing across organizations and time zones
  • Collaborate with Program and Project Managers to identify bottlenecks in the game development pipeline, addressing handoff friction, build delays, and unclear definitions of done
  • Standardize production workflows across titles, including milestone templates, acceptance criteria, asset delivery conventions, and release checklists
  • Measure pipeline health and translate metrics into concrete process improvements
  • Pilot tooling and automation enhancements, including AI-assisted production workflows, to shorten iteration cycles
  • Align engineering leads, designers, and artists on requirements before development starts to reduce ambiguity
  • Drive integration workstreams by grooming backlogs, clarifying requirements, and validating deliverables against acceptance criteria
  • Surface cross-title resource conflicts, dependencies, and partner blockers through regular cross-team reviews
  • Maintain integration runbooks and partner-specific documentation so knowledge remains accessible

Requirements

  • 3+ years as a Game Producer, Game Project Manager, or delivery-focused Product Manager in a game studio or software company, with at least one shipped title or major integration you led from plan to release
  • Strong command of game production methodology, including milestone planning, scope management, build pipelines, and release management
  • Hands-on experience managing external partner integrations such as third-party SDKs, payment providers, platform operators, or similar B2B integrations
  • Ability to read API documentation and technical designs, decompose them into actionable tasks across engineering, art, design, and QA, and challenge estimates constructively
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable representing the company to partner teams and navigating delays or scope conversations
  • Experience working within a multi-PM structure, collaborating with program and project managers rather than owning all responsibilities solo
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for task boards, backlog management, PRD creation, and production documentation
  • Fluent in Chinese Mandarin and English, both written and spoken, able to run partner meetings and write PRDs for cross-team communication
  • Based in Irvine, CA or willing to relocate before starting; this is an onsite role requiring the ability to commute to Irvine 92618
  • Familiarity with Postman and curl is a plus
