Job Description

Starbucks is seeking an Intermediate Technical Product Manager for Supply Chain Technology to join the team on-site in Seattle, WA. This role focuses on identifying business problems, defining success metrics, and translating needs into epics and user stories that guide engineering as supply chain solutions are built and released. The position offers a compensation range of USD 121,900 to 203,100 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Clarify product value and strategic direction by aligning business goals with technical objectives, setting priorities, and establishing health metrics and KPIs.
  • Convert stakeholder needs into actionable work by crafting well-formed epics and user stories, outlining acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, resilience, usability, accessibility, security, continuity), and identifying tradeoffs, dependencies, and constraints.
  • Lead delivery through iterative Agile practices, collaborate with design and engineering on sizing and planning, remove blockers, coordinate user reviews and acceptance, and assess feature success post-launch to improve product health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Seven or more years delivering complex technology products
  • Five or more years applying analytics and optimization tools to guide product planning and prioritization
  • Five or more years partnering with design and engineering to deliver customer-facing features, including developing roadmaps and backlogs and crafting and refining user stories
  • Experience in supply chain planning, including supply and demand planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Seven or more years delivering complex technology products, including cross-team roadmaps and technically intricate features
  • Recent experience building for web and/or mobile, with ability to read or understand code; prior programming experience is a plus
  • At least five years of hands-on product planning, including technical roadmaps, story outlines, acceptance criteria, and large-scale backlog refinement
  • Strong influence without authority, clear communication, and excellent organization while managing competing priorities; deep familiarity with Agile practices and tools
  • Experience designing or configuring planning platforms such as o9, SAP, Oracle, Anaplan or similar, and integrating them with ERP systems
  • Knowledge of APIs, data interfaces, ETL processes, and other integration mechanisms linking planning and operational systems
  • Familiarity with Databricks and experience supporting data pipelines and data validation activities
  • Ability to collaborate with data engineering teams to define data requirements, validate data flows, and support initiatives
  • Experience with data mapping, data governance, interface validation, and integration testing activities
