Portal Product Owner

Accenture is seeking an onsite Portal Product Owner in Miami, FL to lead the digital portal platform for Life and Annuity. You will transform roadmaps into epics and user stories, partnering with engineering, UX, and stakeholders to deliver features that meet real customer needs. Responsibilities

• Own and manage the portal platform backlog, ensuring prioritization aligns with the product strategy and customer needs.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate strategic roadmap initiatives into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering teams in an Agile environment to plan, refine, and deliver features across sprint cycles.
• Define and document user journeys across key personas including agents, policyholders, customer service representatives, and administrators.
• Work closely with UX and design teams to ensure adherence to UX/UI guidelines published by product management.
• Engage with internal stakeholders, customers, and implementation teams to gather feedback and validate product requirements.
• Support integration requirements with policy administration systems, CRM platforms, document management, and identity/access management solutions.
• Participate in sprint reviews, backlog grooming, and release planning while ensuring quality and alignment with acceptance criteria.
• Monitor product performance, user feedback, and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Life and Annuity industry experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with insurance policy administration systems or digital insurance platforms
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with accessibility standards, digital security best practices, and modern portal frameworks
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 12 years of work experience; if you hold an Associate's degree, a minimum of 6 years of work experience is required
