Principal, Product Manager

Walmart is looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead product strategy across its B2B commerce portfolio in Bentonville, AR. In this senior individual contributor role, you will own complex customer challenges end to end, shaping roadmap direction while aligning senior stakeholders. The work includes embedding AI across the B2B buying and fulfillment experience and driving measurable outcomes across the portfolio.

Role scope

• Lead product strategy across Walmart’s B2B commerce portfolio using deep domain expertise and data-driven insights
• Own complex customer problems from discovery through prioritized delivery and scaled launch
• Develop front-end experiences for business buyers across shopping, discovery, checkout, and account management
• Advance AI and machine learning across the B2B experience, including intelligent routing, personalized recommendations, delivery promise, and demand forecasting
• Improve fulfillment, returns, and order orchestration to deliver speed and reliability at scale
• Define success metrics, run experiments, and influence enterprise prioritization through customer insights and opportunity sizing

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years of product management experience with a strong eCommerce and B2B foundation
• Experience shipping AI and machine learning-powered products in production at scale
• Strong breadth across the commerce stack, including customer-facing experiences and operational platforms such as fulfillment and returns
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-area roadmaps and lead cross-functional teams through scaled launch
• Data fluency including experimentation, advanced analytics, and opportunity sizing to support decisions
• Deep stakeholder management skills with enterprise-level influence across technical and business functions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize complexity into clear narratives for senior leadership

Education and minimum qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years of product management experience
• Option 2: 11 years of product management (or related area) experience

Additional preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area, plus 8 years as a product manager (ideally on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products)
• Supervisory experience
• Experience creating inclusive digital experiences
• Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating accessibility into digital products
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices aligned with Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines

Compensation

• Bentonville, Arkansas: annual salary range $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
• Sunnyvale, California: annual salary range $143,000.00 - $286,000.00, plus annual or quarterly performance bonuses and possible stock for certain positions
• Salary range noted for the role: USD 110,000 - 286,000 per year
