Principal Product Manager- Technical - Performance, Demand Tech Products

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring a Principal Product Manager, Technical to lead product strategy and execution for performance-focused Demand Tech Products. In this role, you will shape end-to-end plans for Display, Video, and Audio ad buying systems, working with a cross-functional set of partners to improve performance and grow the business over time. The position is based in New York, NY (onsite).

You will drive product ideation through launch, then continue to refine performance campaign products and services. A key part of the job is authoring and executing a 3-year plan to expand Amazon’s performance ads business, aligning teams and partners around measurable customer outcomes across advertisers, agencies, publishers, and measurement or data providers.

What you’ll do

• Build and improve performance campaign products and services
• Establish, strike, or enhance partnerships with advertisers, agencies, publishers, measurement providers, and data providers to strengthen performance products
• Lead product ideation, build, and launches with a team of product managers, engineers, and applied scientists
• Function as a single-threaded team focused on a single customer-obsessed objective
• Author a 3-year plan to grow the performance ads business and execute against that plan

What you bring

• 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience delivering features and making tradeoffs across a product
• Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience leading engineering discussions about technology decisions and product strategy
• Experience in technical product management

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working directly with engineers on product enhancements
• Experience with project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Compensation and benefits

• Salary: USD 197,900 - 267,800 per year
