Job Description

This role owns the current product portfolio and lifecycle, driving strategic and financial outcomes in a manufacturing environment.

  • Salary: USD 85,000 - 100,000 per year
  • Job type: Contract
  • Minimum experience: 2 years
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Product Management related field

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the existing product portfolio across the full lifecycle to meet strategic and financial targets.
  • Lead the New Product Development Stage/Gate process for all in‑development products, ensuring timely and high‑quality deliverables.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new product opportunities aligned with growth targets.
  • Serve as a product expert and liaison across business areas for support, education, and performance optimization.
  • Report on product performance and provide insights to engineering, marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Support cross‑functional teams by delivering technical expertise and training on products.
  • Collaborate with leadership and regional managers to define product strategies that meet customer needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement through product market analysis, voice‑of‑the‑customer research, and competitive assessments.
  • Develop and implement marketing collateral, customer presentations, and training materials for product lines.
  • Monitor vendor and manufacturing partner performance to ensure compliance with specifications and delivery standards.
  • Participate in quality review processes and root cause analysis to address warranty and quality issues.
  • Facilitate new product launches and enhancements with presentations and meetings to generate enthusiasm.
  • Support the development of marketing resources, including videos, brochures, press releases, and digital content.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support company objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Product Management related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2 years of product or project management experience.
  • Previous sales and marketing experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and strong analytical problem‑solving abilities.
  • Robust project management capabilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to traverse the production facility and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds and travel at least 20% of the time.
