Product Manager
Job Description
Hybrid, bilingual Product Manager role in San Jose, CA, responsible for owning the product lifecycle and marketing assets while coordinating between manufacturing partners in China and the US market. Sponsorship is available.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product release process from the factory in China through to the US market, ensuring on-time delivery and market readiness upon arrival.
- Own the creation and ongoing maintenance of customer-facing marketing assets, including managing the website, datasheets, brochures, and presentation decks.
- Oversee external resources such as freelancers (web developers, graphic designers, copywriters) to deliver high-quality marketing output.
- Maintain strict revision control of engineering documentation and manage Part Numbers, Bills of Materials, and technical specifications.
- Apply advanced data analysis using Excel to model costs, pricing structures, and track product performance metrics.
Requirements
- Mandatory professional fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field; a degree from a university in China is acceptable.
- Combination of technical background and marketing mindset to understand the product and communicate it effectively.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets, part numbering systems, and release checklists.
- Expert-level skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CMS is a plus.
- Managerial mindset capable of directing freelancers and holding external vendors accountable.
- Driven and adaptable, a self-starter who thrives on challenges and seeks rapid career growth.
- Must be eligible for US work authorization and sponsorship (e.g., OPT/STEM OPT).
