Product Manager

Venteon is seeking a Product Manager for its onsite operation in Rochester Hills, Michigan. This role centers on shaping product strategy, cultivating vendor partnerships, and enabling sales teams across multiple locations. You will define product assortments and pricing, negotiate with manufacturers, and lead the rollout of company branded equipment. The position requires a minimum of five years of product management experience and a proven ability to translate market insights into profitable offerings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product assortment and pricing strategies while cultivating vendor partnerships
• Identify market gaps and broaden the product lineup
• Lead the development and rollout of company branded equipment
• Oversee vendor and brand management
• Negotiate pricing, programs, and terms with manufacturers
• Manage and grow relationships with key partners including Bartell, Lavina, and Husqvarna
• Optimize product mix and positioning across all locations
• Develop and enable the team
• Provide training and development for sales teams across locations on equipment and systems
• Offer technical expertise and field support to boost confidence and performance
• Influence store level sales teams through training, ride alongs, and coaching
• Create scalable training programs, SOPs, and sales playbooks
• Recruit and lead specialized equipment and surface prep sales talent as the division grows

Requirements

• Extensive background in surface preparation, grinding, or concrete polishing
• Deep knowledge of equipment, tooling, and jobsite applications
• Proven success in vendor negotiations and relationship management
• Experience training, developing, and influencing sales teams
• Ability to lead directly and through influence across multiple locations
• Entrepreneurial builder mindset with a passion for scaling a business unit
