Product Manager
Job Description
The Senior Product Manager will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of a centralized billing and invoicing platform across Enlyte’s product ecosystem. This role translates product usage and business events into accurate, scalable billing constructs to enable invoice generation and revenue realization.
Responsibilities
- Define and steer the strategy and roadmap for a centralized billing and invoicing platform.
- Build a scalable, reusable architecture that supports multiple product lines with diverse pricing models and billing needs.
- Drive standardization across products while preserving necessary flexibility.
- Collaborate with product teams to identify and define billable events, including usage-based, subscription, and hybrid models.
- Translate product usage, workflows, and outcomes into structured, auditable billing data models.
- Ensure end-to-end traceability from raw product signals to billable events, charges, and invoices.
- Work with multiple product teams to gather requirements, normalize data inputs, and align on integration patterns.
- Design APIs, contracts, and data pipelines to enable consistent ingestion of billing events across systems.
- Resolve conflicts between product-specific needs and platform-wide standards.
- Support complex pricing strategies, including tiered, usage-based, transaction-based, and contract-based models.
- Partner with finance and go-to-market teams to ensure pricing models are implementable, testable, and scalable.
- Enable rapid experimentation with pricing and packaging.
- Ensure clean integration with invoicing, ERP, and other financial systems.
- Own requirements for invoice generation, adjustments, credits, taxes, and compliance considerations.
- Drive accuracy, transparency, and auditability of invoices.
- Define standards for data quality, reconciliation, and auditability.
- Implement controls to ensure billing accuracy and prevent revenue leakage.
- Collaborate with finance on reconciliation processes and reporting.
- Serve as the central point of coordination across Product, Engineering, Finance (RevOps/Accounting), Legal, and Customer Operations.
- Communicate tradeoffs, risks, and progress clearly to executives and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of product management experience, including at least 2+ years in billing, invoicing, payments, or financial systems.
- Proven experience building or scaling platform products serving multiple internal or external customers.
- Experience with usage-based billing, event-driven architectures, or metering systems.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, APIs, and system integrations.
