Job Description
Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Shape the long-range product vision and multi-year roadmap by integrating customer input, sales feedback, market analysis, and competitive insights.
- Prioritize initiatives to drive revenue growth, profitability, and strategic relevance.
- Identify emerging industry trends and convert them into clear, commercially viable product requirements and enhancement opportunities.
- Support the development and launch of new products, features, and capabilities while continuing to improve existing offerings.
- Develop and maintain awareness of Maplecroft's product offerings and roadmap to spot alignment or synergy opportunities between PCS and Maplecroft clients.
Customer and Market Engagement
- Act as a product subject matter expert with current and prospective customers, aiding sales and relationship management efforts.
- Develop and deliver customer presentations, demos, proofs of concept, and product collateral that clearly communicate product value and use cases.
- Gather and synthesize client feedback to identify unmet needs, adoption barriers, and opportunities for differentiation.
Commercial Enablement
- Support pricing, packaging, bundling, and product enhancements in collaboration with the Commercial Strategy team and PCS leadership.
- Assist with proposal responses, contracting inputs, and commercial discussions where product expertise is required.
- Equip sales teams with clear product messaging, positioning, and materials to aid customer acquisition and upsell.
Cross Functional Execution
- Collaborate with technology and data teams to translate product priorities into actionable requirements and deliverables.
- Partner with marketing on go to market planning, positioning, and product launches.
- Track product performance and adoption metrics, using insights to drive iterative improvements.
- Demonstrate project and program management skills.
Market Engagement
- Some travel for customer meetings, conferences, and internal collaboration should be expected.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in product management, product lifecycle management, or go-to-market roles, preferably within data, analytics, or SaaS environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication, capable of engaging both technical and business audiences credibly.
- Proven ability to translate customer and market insight into practical product outcomes.
- Understanding of or experience with property catastrophe risk, P&C insurance, reinsurance, excess and surplus markets, and broker ecosystems is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders.
