Product Manager

Zinda Law Group, PLLC is hiring a Product Manager in Austin to lead product discovery, specification, and shipped outcomes for its litigation automation platform.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap end to end: speak with PI lawyers and staff, identify the highest-value workflow problems, and translate them into a prioritized plan
• Write product specs with clear acceptance criteria so engineers can build without ambiguity
• Work hands-on with LLM and AI-powered features: define expected feature behavior, test outputs against real legal work product, and set the quality bar for “good enough to ship”
• Run discovery and feedback loops with early customers, including Zinda Law Group as the first major client
• Define and track metrics that show whether features are working, including adoption, time saved, output quality, and retention
• Operate with significant ambiguity in an early-stage environment, making decisions with incomplete information and adjusting quickly

Requirements

• Have shipped a 0-to-1 software product or major feature as the accountable PM
• Work directly with engineers day to day, able to read a technical design and discuss APIs, data models, and model behavior without a translator
• Have shipped or worked hands-on with LLM or AI-powered features, and use AI tools to move your own work faster
• Build software for demanding professional users, such as legal, healthcare, finance, or similar, where workflow details determine whether the product is adopted
• Have worked in small, fast-moving companies where process had to be built, not stepped into
• Have a track record that reflects work you personally drove, not only results you were adjacent to
• About 4–10 years total professional experience, with at least 3 years in product management
• Show meaningful tenure at each stop, with job changes that add up (promotions, acquisitions, layoffs, or clear career logic)

• Partner with founders and engineering to set what to build, why, and in what order, and ensure it ships and works for lawyers and legal assistants
• Lead as a builder in a setting with no existing product org to step into
• Write the first specs and run the first structured discovery to establish how product decisions are made

Location and Compensation

• Location: Austin, TX (onsite)
• Salary: USD 150,000 - 180,000 per year
• Minimum experience: 3 years
