Product Manager, Data Management Platform & Partner Audience
Job Description
TikTok is seeking a Product Manager to lead the Data Management Platform and Partner Audience initiatives from its San Jose, CA onsite office. The role focuses on onboarding and activation of partner audiences, facilitating identity interoperability, and integrating with external audience providers. You will own the DMP roadmap, balancing reach, quality, compliance, latency, and long-term scalability while collaborating with engineering, data science, legal, privacy, and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Shape the strategy and roadmap for onboarding partner audiences and enabling identity interoperability across the platform.
- Oversee integrations with identity and audience partners, including anticipated future third-party providers.
- Maintain day-to-day product communications with strategic partners, nurture relationships, and align on integration specifics such as data payloads, identity fields, and testing scope.
- Translate partner goals into platform capabilities, requirements, identity matching logic, data-quality controls, and operational workflows.
- Balance advertiser reach, match quality, compliance, latency, platform cost, and long-term scalability.
- Own requirements for audience match-rate measurement, overmatching detection, regional routing checks, identity enrichment transparency, and guardrail enforcement.
- Define short- and long-term remediation strategies, payload-level external identifiers, real-time optimization, partner-specific guardrails, and ID graph quality improvements.
- Ensure that improvements in match-rate do not compromise advertiser reach, campaign continuity, reporting consistency, or privacy expectations.
- Align roadmap, milestones, and launch criteria across cross-functional and support teams.
- Drive project rituals, risk tracking, escalation, milestone revision, launch readiness, and stakeholder communication.
- Make crisp tradeoffs across timeline, quality, compliance, partner requests, and engineering capacity.
- Communicate project status, risks, business impact, and required decisions clearly to senior leadership.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of product management experience in advertising technology, data platforms, identity, measurement, or audience platforms; deeper DMP / identity / partner integration experience is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of audience activation concepts including hashing, mapping, identity matching, match rate, refresh cadence, suppression, activation, and reporting continuity.
- Experience working with external technical partners or data/identity providers through complex integrations.
- Ability to write clear product requirements for data pipelines, identity logic, diagnostics, dashboards, and operational workflows.
- Strong analytical judgment to interpret match-rate analyses, data-quality investigations, funnel metrics, and partner performance benchmarks.
- Proven ability to independently lead ambiguous, cross-functional platform initiatives involving engineering, data science, legal/privacy, commercial, and external partner stakeholders.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is USD 185,600 to 311,600 annually. Compensation may vary outside this range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is part of the Total Package and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses or incentives, as well as restricted stock units.
