The role focuses on Fidelity's credit card products, delivering customer‑centered experiences through research, competitive analysis, end‑to‑end product development, testing, rollout, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs by partnering with the research team to conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
- Assess the competitive landscape to identify differentiation opportunities.
- Drive and support key development lifecycle activities including requirements, UX design, API development, and end‑to‑end testing of customer experiences.
- Conduct business testing on new functionality and processes, participate in readiness and rollout activities for production releases.
- Coordinate with multiple partners and processes to simplify communications and client engagement while maintaining compliance and regulatory standards, including management of an external credit card vendor and related front‑line service providers.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and manage thoughtful risk to deliver faster, better outcomes by building strong cross‑Fidelity relationships.
- Participate in prioritizing squad work, define requirements, align business and technology needs, and write Agile stories to advance infrastructure and APIs while delivering innovative credit card web and mobile experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required with 3–5+ years of financial services experience focused on business‑to‑customer product development.
- Product development consulting experience is a plus.
- Credit card experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong background in solving customer problems and delivering engaging, personalized, digital solutions.
- Proven ability to execute and remove impediments to progress.
- Experience with benchmarking and business rules analysis.
- Proficiency with creating and refining user stories and user acceptance testing.
- Solid product documentation skills and strong critical thinking to understand complex customer needs.
- Project management capabilities to lead execution teams aligned to strategic plans and objectives.
- Excellent listening, presentation, and persuasion skills to achieve consensus across diverse audiences.
- Experience with Agile approaches and familiarity with Jira and Mural as tools.
- Strong story‑writing skills.
