Job Description

Join Lendable to help shape and scale US Cards with a team built around data-driven decision making and practical experimentation. This role sits close to the proprietary AI and decisioning that allows Lendable to see people as individuals rather than credit scores. You will use AI tools as part of how you build, test, and analyse, while working within a small, resourceful group that moves quickly and makes real product impact from day one.

What you’ll own

  • Product vision and roadmap for US Cards, starting with first-to-market parity and moving past it for the current and expanding target segment, based on customer understanding and experimentation.
  • Customer lifecycle management from first transaction onward, including credit line management, spend and engagement growth, balance growth, and pricing and proposition management, plus retention and reactivation.
  • Mobile app experience to drive activation, spend, and engagement.
  • New credit propositions alongside the core Cards product.
  • Hands-on execution including writing and resolving tickets, prototyping, and owning implementation and design decisions.
  • Cross-functional leadership through influence with Credit, Growth, Design, Data Science, and Compliance, partnering closely with the US Cards Managing Director.
  • Outcome-driven goals with clear, measurable targets, judged by whether key numbers move.

How you’ll work

You will make tough calls under ambiguity, own decisions, and course-correct when the evidence changes. The work is expected to be hands-on, including prototyping, implementation and design decisions, and deep analytical problem solving rather than relying solely on dashboards or model outputs.

What you bring

  • A track record of owning product outcomes end to end, including the ability to make and adjust decisions when conditions are unclear.
  • Strong analytical instincts: a sense for how metrics should behave, persistence to identify real drivers, and the discipline to verify assumptions.
  • Comfort working hands-on, including writing and resolving tickets, prototyping, and driving implementation and design decisions.
  • Real fluency with AI tools used as part of building, testing, and analysis.
  • Ability to lead through influence across Credit, Growth, Design, Data Science, and Compliance, including openness to changing your mind when presented with strong arguments.
  • Experience shaping mobile app journeys for activation and engagement.
  • Nice to have: Experience with consumer credit lifecycle levers such as credit line management, pricing, retention, and reactivation.

Tools and focus

Machine learning and AI are core to how the team works, supported by a data-driven approach to customer lifecycle and credit decisioning.

Location and flexibility

Arlington, VA (hybrid). Hybrid roles require three days in-office weekly, with additional opportunities to connect through socials and off-sites.

Benefits

  • Support for physical and mental wellbeing, including private health cover
  • Long-term financial wellbeing through retirement savings plans
  • Competitive bonus when you refer successful new team members
  • Fully stocked kitchen, plus complimentary lunches prepared by in-house chefs on in-office days at select locations
  • Cycle-to-work and electric vehicle salary sacrifice schemes available in select locations
  • Opportunities and events to come together, socialise, and get to know each other beyond the office walls
  • Opportunity to scale up one of the world’s most successful fintech companies

Interview process

  • A quick chat with someone from the Talent team
  • A 15-minute cognitive assessment
  • An interview with the Hiring Manager
  • A practical exercise or case study relevant to the role, discussed with the team you’ll work with
  • Final interviews to assess how you’ll thrive within the team and organisation
