Senior Product Manager - Payment Solutions
Job Description
Dover Fueling Solutions is building enterprise payment, loyalty, outdoor payment, and forecourt solutions across North America. In this role, you will lead the strategy, development, commercialization, and lifecycle management of products that must perform reliably in real-world payment environments, with a strong focus on secure, scalable, and commercially successful outcomes.

What you’ll do
- Own product vision, strategy, objectives, and success measures for assigned payment and loyalty offerings.
- Align product direction to company objectives, regional market opportunities, portfolio priorities, and customer needs.
- Lead full product lifecycle management from discovery and business-case development through launch, optimization, and retirement.
- Drive product convergence by identifying opportunities for platform reuse, standardization, and scalable regional capabilities.
- Lead structured requirements-gathering with enterprise customers, internal teams, commercial stakeholders, suppliers, channel partners, and end users.
- Translate customer and business needs into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements, ensuring coverage for usability, accessibility, performance, scalability, reliability, security, privacy, compliance, and operational supportability.
- Develop and maintain customer personas, journey maps, use cases, process flows, and product requirement documentation.
- Facilitate discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, design sessions, proof-of-concept reviews, and solution-validation activities.
- Establish traceability from customer needs and business objectives to product requirements, delivery outcomes, and measurable benefits.
- Build and refine the North America payment solutions roadmap, maintaining short-, medium-, and long-term views across capabilities, features, integrations, compliance mandates, technical enablers, and platform improvements.
- Prioritize investments using customer value, strategic alignment, revenue potential, risk reduction, regulatory urgency, delivery effort, technical dependencies, and total cost of ownership.
- Coordinate dependencies across engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, compliance, operations, sales, marketing, and other product leaders, while monitoring execution and adjusting priorities based on market conditions and results.
- Drive engineering priorities through Agile planning and Program Increment planning, partnering on release objectives, scope, sequencing, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate product readiness across development, testing, certification, deployment, operations, training, and support, and ensure delivered capabilities meet agreed requirements.
- Operate with a consistent Voice of Customer program using interviews, advisory sessions, feedback analysis, usage data, and customer satisfaction insights.
- Build trusted relationships with strategic customers, commercial teams, channel partners, payment providers, and internal stakeholders; represent customer and market needs in executive and technical settings.
- Contribute to capability development by mentoring product managers.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 8+ years of product management, product strategy, engineering, systems analysis, or related experience, preferably involving payment hardware and software solutions.
- 3+ years of regional, platform, or portfolio-level product ownership.
- Proven ability owning product strategy, gathering requirements, defining product vision, and building and executing roadmaps.
- Experience leading complex, interdependent products or programs across multiple functions and geographic regions.
- Experience delivering products deployed within the payments ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of payment-platform architecture, transaction flows, POS functionality, payment hardware, software integrations, and related services.
- Working knowledge of PCI, EMV, payment-network certifications, tokenization, encryption, fraud controls, and applicable compliance requirements.
- Experience with Agile product development, backlog management, release planning, and Program Increment planning.
- Demonstrated experience developing business cases, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting pricing or commercialization decisions.
- Experience working with customers, suppliers, channel partners, commercial teams, engineering, architecture, compliance, cybersecurity, and operations.
- Experience in the fuel, convenience retail, hospitality, or unattended-payment industries is desirable.
- Industry involvement with organizations such as the U.S. Payments Forum, NACS, or Conexxus is desirable.
- Experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
- Strong customer-centered product-management mindset.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
