Job Description

Join RectorSeal in Houston, TX as a Product Manager responsible for steering a defined portfolio through its full lifecycle, from idea to retirement. This hybrid role blends strategic planning with hands-on product development and manufacturing coordination, requiring in-office presence three days a week to collaborate across engineering, sales, marketing, supply chain, and production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product from concept through end-of-life, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, supply chain, and manufacturing to drive results.
  • Translate customer and market needs into scalable, manufacturable product solutions.
  • Ensure product design feasibility and supply chain resilience are built into development.
  • Lead stage-gate processes and ensure documentation readiness for scale-up.
  • Manage product modifications, continuous improvement efforts, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Actively promote products and identify cross-sell opportunities with internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher
  • 3+ years in a Product Development or Product Management role with a demonstrated focus on customer experience and a track record of identifying opportunities or solving pain points based on customer insight and data
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
  • Availability for 15%–20% domestic travel, with possible international travel

Job Summary

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience with JD Edwards, PowerBI, and Akeneo
  • Knowledge or practical experience in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC markets

Work Environment

Compensation

Compensation is market-based, determined by experience and position. You may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
