Job Description

On Best Buy’s Search Experience team, you’ll help raise the bar for product discovery across BestBuy.com and the Best Buy mobile app. This role focuses on improving performance and stability in search and browse experiences, turning experimentation and customer insights into measurable gains for both customers and the business.

What you’ll work on

  • Contribute to the definition and execution of the product strategy and roadmap for performance across discovery experiences, including search, browse, and promotional listing pages
  • Partner with engineering, design, analytics, and architecture to identify and prioritize improvements to customer experience, site speed, reliability, and business performance
  • Set and drive key performance metrics, including Core Web Vitals and other experience health indicators across web and app
  • Use customer insights, analytics, experimentation, and operational data to spot friction points and validate product investments
  • Make informed tradeoff decisions by balancing customer outcomes, technical investments, and business objectives

How you’ll measure impact

  • Evaluate product impact through experimentation, performance monitoring, and KPI tracking, using learnings to refine future strategy and roadmap decisions
  • Build and maintain cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, operations, legal, partner product teams, business, and other key stakeholders
  • Translate complex technical challenges into clear customer and business outcomes for leadership and partners
  • Support product operating mechanisms such as roadmap planning, prioritization, OKRs, and regular business reviews

What you bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience (or related experience) delivering digital products, platforms, or customer experiences
  • 2+ years of experience using data, experimentation, and customer insights to drive product decisions and measure outcomes
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy creation, customer-focused solutioning, and cross-functional leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to influence priorities and drive alignment across multiple teams and partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field OR equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience improving digital customer experiences through initiatives focused on performance, reliability, scalability, or usability
  • Familiarity with web and mobile experience metrics such as Core Web Vitals, page performance, latency, and other application health indicators
  • Experience leading product teams and partnering with engineering teams on highly technical product challenges
  • Experience working in retail, e-commerce, search, discovery, content, and/or customer-facing experiences

Compensation and benefits

  • Salary: USD 98,150 - 173,950 per year
  • Location: Minneapolis, MN (hybrid)
