Product Operations Lead

The Product Operations Lead is an essential part of the store leadership team at Lululemon, focused on bringing the store product strategy to execution. This role manages product operations and inventory accuracy while helping maintain a well-stocked, organized experience both on the sales floor and in back of house.

Role Overview

• Execute the store product strategy in partnership with store leadership.
• Lead day-to-day product operations, including inventory management and organization.
• Ensure floor and back of house areas are stocked and maintained to support guest needs.
• Support guest experience during scheduled floor time.
• Contribute to store performance evaluation, hiring input, and inventory shift leadership as Supervisor on Duty.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with store leadership to translate product strategy into operational plans.
• Proactively plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure product actions are completed, including pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
• Create a fun and productive shift environment that engages team members in inventory management.
• Monitor product levels and communicate insights to support sell-through strategy and optimal product availability.
• Review and interpret daily business data and metrics to guide actions, such as analyzing product sell-through data to recommend product focus for the store or pricing considerations for outlets.
• Participate in the hiring process, including recruitment activities, selection, hiring recommendations, onboarding, and training support.
• Address team member performance through direct feedback, recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on learning opportunities.
• Help build a respectful and inclusive team environment by establishing supportive working relationships.
• When scheduled as Supervisor on Duty during store open hours, move dynamically from the floor to lead and deliver technical product education for guests.

Required Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
• Ability to travel to the assigned store using reliable transportation methods.
• At least 1 year of work experience.
• Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including using business technology to complete work.
• Some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Pay Range: USD 24 - 30 per hour (Base Pay Range: $24.50 - $28.25/hour, subject to minimum wage in the location).
• Target Bonus: $2.00/hour.

Nice-to-Have (Job Assets)

• Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above.
• Related Experience: Retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations; reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics to inform action.
• Experiential Stores (Food/Beverage Service): Food safety and/or liquor service certification.

Schedule & Availability

• The work schedule can vary based on store needs.
• Shifts are typically scheduled: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, some team members may work early mornings or late nights/overnights.

Work Location & Context

• Location: Wayne, NJ (onsite).
• Work involves moving through the store, sometimes in front of house with bright lights and loud music, and sometimes in back of house with no windows or natural light.
• Work is completed as part of a team, sometimes independently, and may include using a computer or other technical devices.
• May occasionally involve moving boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) or using ladders to reach materials.
• For Experiential stores with food/beverage service only: work may include using industrial kitchen equipment and exposure to heat to prepare food or beverages.
