Product Operations Manager, Emerging Product

This onsite role in San Jose, CA focuses on building operational frameworks and service infrastructure to launch, localize, and scale emerging products in the United States within a fast-paced TikTok USDS Joint Venture environment.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and Launch Readiness: Direct the North America service strategy and operational readiness for new product launches, establishing localized technical frameworks and standardized playbooks.
• Support Channel Management: Oversee the performance and quality of multi-channel support services, including hotline operations and AI-driven self-service tools on the app and website.
• Voice of the Customer: Act as the primary NA advocate by analyzing feedback and driving product and quality improvements through collaboration with R&D and Product teams.
• Hardware and Supply Chain Operations: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of physical hardware services, including vendor management for repair centers, returns, exchanges, and spare parts logistics.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor service KPIs and IT infrastructure to identify consumer pain points, utilizing data insights to implement proactive operational solutions.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Vendor Management: Direct experience negotiating with, onboarding, and managing third-party service providers and strategic partners.
• Execution and Resilience: Proven ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment with high ownership and resilience under pressure.
• Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration between R&D, Quality, and Product teams to drive results.

Benefits

• Base salary range: $110,230 – $248,400 annually.
• Compensation may vary outside this range based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location; base pay may be complemented by discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
