Job Description

Axon is building a go-to-market engine for Axon Air across its full product line, and this Product Operations Manager II role sits at the center of that work. You will connect Product, Sales, Partners, Marketing, and Finance to translate product strategy into commercial execution, with a focus on pricing, packaging, quoting, launch coordination, and positioning across multiple customer markets.

This hybrid position is based in Sterling, VA, supporting the team through day-to-day deal enablement and longer-range GTM planning, including anticipating sales and market shifts before they become problems.

What you’ll own

  • Pricing and packaging strategy: Own pricing and packaging across market segments and regions, maintaining consistency, competitiveness, and alignment with business goals.
  • GTM planning for launches: Lead go-to-market planning and coordination for new product introductions and major releases, aligning Product, Marketing, and Sales on positioning and timing.
  • Sales enablement: Build and evolve sales enablement materials and playbooks to help the field sell Axon Air’s full portfolio with confidence.
  • Partner and channel GTM: Own strategic partner and channel go-to-market relationships (including Skydio, DroneSense, and Dedrone Beyond), navigating complex, ambiguous conversations to solve problems collaboratively with external stakeholders.
  • Quoting strategy and guardrails: Set and maintain quoting strategy and guardrails, partnering with Sales and Deal Desk to enable speed while protecting margin and compliance.
  • Deal support expertise: Serve as the subject expert for the sales team’s quoting questions, bringing clarity and speed to day-to-day deal support.
  • Cross-functional advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and Product leadership by anticipating market and sales strategy shifts before they surface as issues.
  • Friction removal for complex deals: Build relationships across Sales, Finance, Product Marketing, Legal, and Supply Chain to remove friction on complex, highly customizable sales.
  • Operational knowledge: Develop strong knowledge of go-to-market strategy, internal systems, and product limitations to remove points of friction on complex, highly customizable deals.

What you bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Experience: 4+ years in product operations, GTM strategy, sales strategy, or a similar cross-functional role.
  • Track record: Proven ownership of pricing, packaging, or quoting strategy in a complex, multi-product environment.
  • Partner/customer navigation: Experience handling ambiguous, high-stakes conversations with external partners or customers.
  • Business and product sense: Ability to translate strategy into practical, scalable processes.
  • Communication and relationships: Strong relationship-building and communication skills across internal and external senior-level stakeholders.
  • CRM experience: Extensive experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools, including pulling and interpreting bookings and pipeline reports to inform sales strategy.
  • Working style: A naturally positive, trust-building presence.

Location and work style

  • Hybrid at one of Axon’s hub offices; this role is based out of the Sterling Office.
  • Onsite Tuesdays through Fridays.
  • Remote on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.

Compensation and benefits

  • Salary range: USD 86,400 - 138,240 per year.
