Product Operations Mgr II
Job Description
Product Operations Manager II leads end-to-end localization initiatives for Commerce-led features across Disney's global streaming platforms, onsite in New York, NY, with a salary range of USD 112,000 - 150,100 per year.
Responsibilities
- Owns a defined set of connected Commerce-led features or portions of key products, applying deep product management expertise with independence.
- Coordinates day-to-day delivery, guides team decisions, and offers informal mentorship to junior team members; communicates with cross-functional teams, creates clear documentation, and manages stakeholder relationships.
- Plans and oversees the execution of multiple features, prioritizes work, maintains backlogs, and ensures high-quality launches.
- Analyzes trade-offs, ensures sprint goals are met, and drives measurable product outcomes such as feature adoption and improvements in key metrics.
- Focuses on outcomes, with success measured by product impact and contributions to team velocity and autonomy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management within Globalization/Localization.
- BA or MA in international product management, localization, project management, or a related field is preferred.
- Track record of managing and releasing complex, high-quality globalized products in collaboration with core product teams.
- Knowledge of globalization best practices and internationalization requirements.
- Experience establishing processes, supporting teams, developing relationships, and managing end-to-end for multiple localization programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience interacting with senior leadership.
- Self-starter, self-motivated and outcome-oriented, with ownership and accountability.
