The Product Operations Senior Lead Product Manager at Cox Automotive will shape enterprise product strategies and operating standards to raise product management maturity. The role focuses on embedding AI-first ways of working and supporting product readiness across the portfolio through cross-functional partnership.

Role Summary
This senior lead role drives enterprise strategies and standards to mature product management, embeds AI-first methodologies, and supports product readiness across the portfolio. The incumbent will operationalize best practices with cross-functional partners, drive adoption of enterprise standards, and administer enterprise-wide Product Operations initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead processes that improve product management maturity, skills, and consistency across Cox Automotive.
- Own and evolve an enterprise discipline framework, including standards for discovery, specification, delivery, and post-launch measurement.
- Guide the development and adoption of AI-first approaches to product management across CAPTG.
- Integrate AI tools (examples include Claude and Pendo AI) into product workflows spanning discovery, research synthesis, specification writing, and launch readiness.
- Create reusable playbooks, skills, prompts, and agents to support consistent execution.
- Act as an internal subject matter expert and evangelist for applied AI in product management.
- Partner with Product Management, Product Readiness teams, and other internal teams within the Product COE and CAPTG to coordinate efforts and increase awareness of Product Operations initiatives.
- Support behavioral change through knowledge sharing and curated resources designed to build buy-in and adoption.
Requirements
- Lead adoption of AI-first approaches to product management, with working knowledge of LLMs (Claude preferred), prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
- Provide excellent service to internal stakeholders, aiming to add incremental value.
- Think critically and broadly about integrating tools, processes, and standards to create compounding value.
- Teach others and communicate best practices in a way that builds buy-in and adoption.
- Self-motivated and able to drive initiatives independently with minimal oversight.
- Operate at a broad scope across diverse teams and stakeholders, with macro and enterprise-level thinking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8 years of experience in a related field (or other combinations such as master’s and 6 years; Ph.D. and 3 years; or 20 years experience).
- 5-7 years of experience in a Product organization in Product Management, or a combination of Product Management and Product Operations.
- Hands-on experience applying AI tools to real product management workflows with measurable results.
- Direct involvement in continuous improvement and large operational change management initiatives.
- Ability to build key business relationships and contribute to the enterprise vision at Cox Automotive.
- Ability to assess capabilities and gaps and build plans to address training needs.

Compensation and Incentives
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $134,900.00 - $224,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position may be eligible for additional compensation, which may include an incentive program.
