Senior Lead Product Manager, Product Operations
Job Description
At Cox Automotive, the Product Operations team is building a more consistent, high-performing way to bring products from discovery to post-launch measurement. In this Senior Lead Product Manager role, you will help shape and scale Product Operations strategies across portfolios, strengthen enterprise product management standards, and embed AI-first methods so teams become more AI-native in their day-to-day work.
This position is based in Atlanta, GA (onsite) and reports through a cross-functional environment where you will coordinate with partners across the product development lifecycle, develop learning programs, and drive adoption of initiative frameworks across CAPTG.
What you’ll do
- Lead the creation and adoption of Product Operations strategies that enable Cox Automotive Product team members to deliver best-in-class products.
- Own and evolve an enterprise discipline framework with standards spanning discovery, specification, delivery, and post-launch measurement.
- Manage shared product management discipline standards across Cox Automotive and drive product management excellence initiatives.
- Support product readiness processes for key initiatives across the portfolio.
- Work cross-functionally to define and operationalize best practices across the product development lifecycle.
- Develop learning and development programs and drive adoption of enterprise standards.
- Embed AI-first methodologies into how product teams discover, define, build, launch, and measure products, moving the organization from AI-aware to AI-native.
- Identify, develop, and administer enterprise-wide initiatives designed to improve Product Operations across portfolios and enable broad change.
- Drive processes that improve product management maturity, skills, and consistency across Cox Automotive.
- Lead the development and adoption of AI-first approaches to product management across CAPTG.
- Integrate AI tools (including Claude and Pendo AI) into product workflows for discovery, research synthesis, specification writing, and launch readiness.
- Create reusable playbooks, skills, prompts, and agents for repeatable execution.
- Serve as an internal SME and evangelist for applied AI in product management.
- Partner with Product Management, Product Readiness, and other teams within the Product COE and CAPTG to coordinate efforts and raise awareness for Product Operations initiatives.
- Catalyze behavioral change through knowledge sharing and thoughtfully curated resources that support buy-in and adoption.

Required experience and education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8 years of experience in a related field.
- Alternative combinations may include a master’s degree and 6 years, Ph.D. and 3 years, or 20 years of related experience.
- 5–7 years of experience in a Product organization directly in Product Management or a combination of Product Management and Product Operations.
- Hands-on experience applying AI tools to real product management workflows with measurable results.
- Direct involvement driving continuous improvement and large operational change management initiatives.
- Strong ability to build business relationships and contribute to Cox Automotive’s enterprise vision.
- Strong ability to assess capabilities and gaps and build plans addressing training needs.

Compensation and benefits
- Salary range: USD 134,900 - 224,900 per year
- Flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as consistent with duties, company needs, and obligations
