Job Description

Ramp Financial is seeking a Product Operations Specialist for Ramp Travel to build and scale workflows that make business travel simple, reliable, and well-controlled for customers. This role focuses on operational health across booking, policy workflows, expense automation, and issue resolution, while supporting launches and tooling improvements through data and AI.

Location and employment

  • Location: New York, NY (hybrid)

  • In-office expectation: Comfortable working in-person at the NYC HQ (near Madison Square Park) at least 2 days/week

Compensation

  • Base salary: USD 128,000 - 180,000 per year
  • Equity: Offers Equity
  • Note: Final compensation depends on the location and level at which the candidate is hired

What you will do

  • Own the voice-of-customer loop for Travel by capturing, analyzing, and prioritizing feedback from customers, CX, Sales, and internal stakeholders
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to translate feedback and operational insights into actionable product requirements, recommendations, and roadmap priorities
  • Build and apply product analytics to find opportunities to improve adoption, booking success, policy compliance, supportability, quality, and traveler experience
  • Lead launch operations for new Travel features, including release readiness, documentation, internal enablement, and feedback loops from alpha through general availability
  • Directly ship product improvements such as UX fixes and operational tooling using AI and low-code tools to reduce customer friction quickly
  • Design scalable operating systems for issue escalation, incident management, release readiness, supportability, and internal communication
  • Identify and automate manual processes to improve consistency and reliability while supporting Ramp’s scale
  • Manage operational relationships with relevant travel partners and vendors, including performance monitoring, surfacing issues, and supporting joint improvement plans
  • Develop deep subject-matter expertise in the end-to-end Travel customer experience and connect recurring customer pain points to teams best positioned to resolve them

What you bring

  • 3+ years of experience in product operations, product management, strategy and operations, consulting, or a customer-facing analytical role, ideally supporting B2B SaaS or fintech products
  • Experience driving complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem identification through execution and measurement
  • Strong analytical skills, including using data to size opportunities, assess performance, and identify customer friction (SQL proficiency preferred)
  • Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative customer feedback into clear product recommendations, requirements, and operational processes
  • Track record of investigating root causes and developing durable solutions for recurring customer or operational issues
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, technically complex environments while creating clarity across multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including tailoring messages for product, technical, operational, and customer-facing audiences
  • Bias toward action, strong prioritization, and ability to ship improvements quickly while measuring impact
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate workflows, or improve product and operational experiences
