Product Operations Specialist | Bill Pay
Job Description
Own product operations for Bill Pay at Ramp by building scalable workflows, running a voice-of-customer loop, and using AI to improve release quality and launch operations.
- Voice of customer (Bill Pay): systematically capture, analyze, and prioritize feedback from CX, Sales, and direct customer channels
- Translate feedback into requirements: partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to turn customer input into actionable product requirements and specs
- Launch operations: own launch operations for new Bill Pay features as they progress from Alpha to GA
- Ship customer friction improvements: directly deliver UX fixes and “paper cut” improvements using AI tools, with ownership of your own backlog for friction reduction (not only engineering backlog intake)
- AI-enabled process automation: use AI to automate workflows and help teams ship faster while maintaining a high quality bar
- Release readiness operating systems: build scalable systems for release readiness, internal enablement, supportability, and issue escalation across Bill Pay workflows
- Broader product operations impact: contribute to Product Operations process improvement and product building that enables Product and Engineering teams to scale
- Release management and support enablement: use AI tools to improve processes for release management, collect customer feedback, and enable internal teams to support customers and troubleshoot issues
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in product operations, product management, or a customer-facing analytical role supporting B2B SaaS
- Domain preference: payments, accounts payable, fintech workflows, or financial operations experience preferred
- Data skills: proficient using data to size opportunities and analyze adoption, support trends, payment flow performance, and customer friction
- Requirements translation: ability to convert qualitative feedback into clear requirements and operational processes
- Ambiguity and stakeholder alignment: comfortable operating in ambiguous, technically complex spaces and driving clarity across multiple stakeholders
- Execution mindset: strong problem solving, prioritization, and communication skills; bias to ship improvements quickly and measure impact
- AI tooling: experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate work and make direct product improvements
- Work location cadence: comfortable working in-person at NYC HQ (near Madison Square Park) or SF (Financial District) at least 3 days/week
