Product Operations Strategic Program Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the Physician Orders Program across multiple departments, directing the review workflow to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance; proactively identify bottlenecks and discrepancies to preserve program integrity.
• Define and own the analytics plan for the program. Establish KPIs and develop dashboards and reports to monitor program health, surface trends, and measure outcomes. Translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders from frontline staff to executive leadership.
• Partner with Quality and Compliance to maintain adherence to Joint Commission, CMS, and state standards; use data to design and implement process improvements and automation with IT and clinical informatics.
• Own the program end-to-end, shaping the strategic design and governance of the workstream. Develop long-term roadmaps, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies to sustain momentum.
• Align cross-functional teams and senior leaders to secure buy-in and effective collaboration. Serve as the central point of contact to manage dependencies, remove impediments, and foster a cohesive team environment.
• Condense program updates, data analyses, and business challenges into clear narratives for diverse audiences. Present to senior leaders to inform strategic decisions and secure necessary resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, MIS, or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree (MPH, MHA, MSN, or MBA) preferred.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in program management, process management, or a related operational role within a healthcare environment.
• Proven track record leading large-scale cross-functional programs and managing complex operational workflows from strategy through execution.
• Strong data analysis, interpretation, and performance reporting skills; proficient with Excel and Tableau to turn data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Extensive program management experience with end-to-end lifecycle governance of complex programs; familiarity with project management software such as ServiceNow and Apptio Targetprocess; knowledge of Alteryx is a plus.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders to advance program objectives.
• Strong strategic problem-solving skills; adept at framing ambiguous challenges, testing hypotheses, and delivering program-level solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and present complex information clearly to senior leadership.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities to oversee a large-scale program in a dynamic environment.
