Product Owner
Job Description
micro1 is building user-facing software and is looking for a Product Owner to help shape and iterate a live product from early discovery through launch and ongoing improvements. This role supports a remote-first team and offers compensation ranging from $90,000 to $200,000 per year (with a listed compensation range of $120K - $200K/yr).
At micro1, product decisions are grounded in KPIs, adoption metrics, and real product data, with continuous input from customers. You will partner closely with engineering and collaborate across teams to bring clarity to ambiguous problems and deliver focused releases with a strong user experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the product lifecycle end-to-end, from discovery and scoping through launch and iteration.
- Build intuitive, high-quality products, with a consistent focus on user experience.
- Define and track KPIs, adoption metrics, and product outcomes to measure what matters.
- Prioritize across user needs, business impact, and technical constraints.
- Turn ambiguous problems into focused, executable releases.
- Use customer feedback and product data to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with engineering to maintain alignment across teams.
- Move quickly while maintaining a high bar for product quality.
Requirements
- Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role owning a live software product.
- Experience building customer-facing products that are intuitive and enjoyable to use.
- Strong product judgment with the ability to simplify complex problems.
- Experience using KPIs, usage data, and customer insights to guide decisions.
- High agency and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong plus if you bring an engineering background or technical fluency, and experience with:
- AI/ML, LLMs, agents, data infrastructure, or analytics products
- Taking products from 0 and iterating based on real-world usage
