Sales Engineer / Product Manager - Fluid Power

This on-site Product Manager and Sales Engineer role is based in Bethlehem, PA, within HYDAC's Accumulator & Cylinder product group, combining sales, product management, and direct customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Apply a sales oriented mindset to product strategy and customer interactions.
• Provide support to Application Engineering and Field Sales teams.
• Manage customer quotations, pricing strategies, and create price lists.
• Lead training initiatives for distributors, territory managers, and customer service staff.
• Identify opportunities for new products or modifications to existing offerings.
• Advise on stock levels and monitor inventory to align with demand.
• Create and refresh product literature and publicity for new products.
• Prepare and present product presentations, reports, and strategic plans.
• Read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, technical procedures, and regulations as needed.
• Communicate clearly and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Deliver excellent customer service to address needs and service requests.
• Develop effective relationships with customers, distributors, and regional sales managers.
• Travel 30 to 40 percent of the time, roughly one week per month.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field required; Engineering degrees preferred (ME emphasized).
• Experience with fluid power, hydraulics, or pneumatics.
• Fluid Power Specialist certification preferred.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing.
