Job Description
American Express is hiring a Senior Manager - Digital Product Ops in Phoenix, AZ (onsite) to lead Digital Product Operations for Global Loyalty & Benefits Risk & Control transformation using the RCSA framework.
Responsibilities
- Drive transformation of the Risk & Control framework for Global Loyalty & Benefits
- Apply the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework recently implemented at Amex
- Partner with internal product and engineering teams to identify and assess inherent risks in the platform
- Design, implement, and document controls that mitigate identified risks
- Serve as a liaison between the Control Management organization, Operational Risk Management, and internal teams across a large and complex organization
- Build and foster a culture of ownership and accountability alongside product and engineering teams
- Support the build out of platform controls tied to Global Loyalty & Benefits
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for the controls you help establish
- Support controls testing and auditing for Global Loyalty & Benefits across the Offers, Benefits, and Rewards customer-facing journeys
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working on and/or with risk and control frameworks (PRSA, RCSA)
- Basic technical understanding of Loyalty applications
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all organizational levels, including external partners
- Familiarity with Agile and scrum software development methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for consulting with stakeholders and defining requirements
- Strong problem solving, project management, and analytical skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks
- High degree of personal organization
- Demonstrates individual initiative, proactiveness, and personal accountability
- Bachelor’s Degree required (or comparable experience) in Business or Computer Science disciplines (preferred)
- Familiarity with Jira, Rally, Confluence, Archer, and ServiceNow (preferred)

Salary range: USD 123,000 - 215,250 per year
