Job Description

The Senior Planview Product Owner will serve as the business owner for T. Rowe Price’s Planview platform and related portfolio management capabilities. This role establishes the product vision, roadmap, requirements, and governance approach, while driving adoption and measurable business value with executive and cross-functional stakeholders.

Product Vision, Roadmap, and Strategy

Own and maintain the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for Planview and related portfolio management capabilities. Define strategic priorities, enhancement opportunities, and adoption plans aligned to organizational goals, ensuring decisions account for business needs, technical sustainability, and user experience.

Backlog Ownership, Requirements, and Delivery Collaboration

Own and prioritize the product backlog for Planview enhancements and capabilities. Define business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and partner with technology teams and vendors to deliver platform enhancements and new capabilities.

Oversee reporting, dashboards, and analytics supported through Planview. Ensure data integrity across portfolio, resource, project, and financial information. Define and track metrics to measure platform adoption, data quality, operational effectiveness, and business value, and use those insights to improve portfolio visibility, investment decision-making, resource planning, and strategic alignment. Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities that enhance planning effectiveness and business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, program management, strategy execution, business management, or related fields.
  • Experience leading enterprise platforms or business applications with multiple stakeholder groups of a similar size and scope.
  • Experience with portfolio management, resource management, financial planning, or strategic planning processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience serving as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Platform Owner for Planview or a related product.
  • Experience with enterprise portfolio management (PPM) and strategic planning disciplines.
  • Experience supporting annual planning, funding governance, business case management, and resource planning.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and prioritizing product backlogs.
  • Experience defining and measuring business value realization.
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation and strategic execution initiatives.
  • Experience in the investment management or financial services industry.

Work Location and Flexibility

  • Location: Baltimore, MD (hybrid)
  • Hybrid work schedule: eligible for up to one day per week from home

Compensation

  • Salary: USD 122,000 - 261,000 per year
  • Annual bonus eligibility
