Senior Product Manager
Job Description
Senior Product Manager to own AMAC's end-to-end digital product portfolio, including member-facing properties and internal platforms. You will lead discovery, write specs, and translate priorities into a measurable roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap across AMAC's full digital portfolio — member site and experiences, landing-page programs, digital properties, and internal tooling — guiding prioritization that shapes the plan
- Conduct real discovery with members and internal stakeholders, define the problem before solving, and separate signals from noise
- Draft clear, buildable specs and PRDs complete with acceptance criteria, edge cases, and a defined success metric so engineers and designers can implement without clarification
- Collaborate with an external development partner on the new website program — scope, milestones, launch readiness, and sequencing trade-offs
- Represent the marketing and creative teams as the product owner for an internal creative-operations platform (in development) to translate workflow pain into a sequenced build
- Define success metrics with the marketing and analytics owner, then close the loop to verify impact against expected outcomes
- Lead end-to-end launches — QA, rollout, internal enablement, and post-launch review to assess impact
- Coordinate across engineering, design, marketing, editorial, advocacy, and membership to keep work moving and dependencies visible
- Identify opportunities where AI and agentic tooling can accelerate discovery, spec drafting, prototyping, and research, and operationalize those workflows
Requirements
- 5–8+ years in product management with senior-level judgment, autonomy, and accountability
- Outcome ownership — define why a solution is needed and whether it moved the needle; set a success metric before building and flag when targets are missed
- Technical fluency — collaborate directly with engineers, read architecture diagrams and analytics reports, understand web fundamentals, and author specs that engineers respect
- Discovery and prioritization instinct — engage with users, say no when appropriate, and ruthlessly sequence work when every initiative feels urgent
- Excellent written communication — craft tight PRDs, one-page rationales, and concise leadership status updates
- Hands-on fluency with AI-assisted product workflows
- Comfort in a small organization with a broad surface area — adept at both 0→1 development and modernization of legacy systems
Technologies
- Astro, React, Tailwind
- PHP, Laravel
- GA4
- Claude, ChatGPT, agentic platforms
- Monday.com
- SQL
Bonus Points
- Background in membership, subscription, or recurring-revenue products
- Experience re-platforming a website or delivering a 0→1 internal tool
- Experience coordinating scope and delivery with an external development partner
- Light hands-on ability to pull data via SQL, prototype quickly, or read code when needed
- Experience with member or customer PII and elevated privacy expectations
Working with AI Tools
- AI-assisted workflows are part of the team's routine, using Claude, ChatGPT, and agentic platforms for discovery, drafting, prototyping, and research
- Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with these tools, including prompt libraries, research workflows, or prototyping pipelines that improve cadence while maintaining judgment
Compensation
- Salary range: USD 80,000 – 120,000 per year
- Performance-based bonus opportunity
Benefits
- 401(k)
- Health Insurance
- Life Insurance
- Paid time off
