Senior Product Manager, Embedded Payments & Strategic Partnerships
Job Description
Shape embedded banking and payment experiences for partners and clients while building scalable products Huntington Bank can launch, integrate, and scale. In this role, you’ll own product strategy and roadmap prioritization for ISV and fintech partnerships, coordinating delivery across internal teams and external partners while meeting regulatory, operational, commercial, and customer experience objectives. Based in Columbus, OH with an onsite workplace type, you’ll also align with a hybrid culture that supports flexibility where eligible.
What you’ll work on
You will develop and execute embedded finance product strategy aligned to business growth objectives, translating feedback and performance signals into roadmap decisions. The role includes monitoring emerging trends across fintech, banking-as-a-service, payments, and embedded finance to keep Huntington’s partner solutions competitive.
- Define and deliver an ISV product strategy, including multi-year roadmap ownership for embedded finance capabilities
- Prioritize features and enhancements using customer feedback, revenue opportunity, risk considerations, and technical feasibility
- Create product positioning and value propositions for ISV partners and their customers
- Establish integration standards, including APIs and webhooks, and define developer experiences and embedded components
- Design and manage products supporting: merchant acquiring, ACH origination and receipt, real-time payments, wire transfers, virtual accounts and ledgers, embedded deposits, treasury management services, payouts and disbursements, funding and settlement services, and future lending and capital solutions
- Own end-to-end money movement and settlement experiences, including onboarding, activation, and servicing workflows
- Maintain operational, support, reporting, and reconciliation capabilities across product programs
- Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation through commercialization
Partner and execution ownership
You’ll serve as the business owner for strategic ISV relationships, driving integration discussions and end-to-end execution across multiple initiatives. You’ll coordinate across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, and external partners, while tracking milestones and resolving blockers on the critical path.
- Understand partner business models, industry workflows, and commercial requirements
- Drive contract negotiations, pricing, and go-to-market planning
- Run operating rhythms including standups, sprint planning, status reviews, steering committee updates, release readiness reviews, and retrospectives
- Coordinate delivery across Huntington’s ISV and HOA banking and payments platforms, including integrated payment acceptance, treasury services, account management, and operational workflows
- Partner with implementation, onboarding, and operational teams to transition capabilities and partner integrations into production
- Develop integrated roadmaps, implementation plans, and executive reporting to communicate program health and strategic priorities
- Partner with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Fraud, BSA/AML, and Operational Risk to ensure solutions meet applicable regulatory requirements and bank policies

- Identify opportunities for treasury, deposit, lending, and merchant service expansion
- Support sales enablement, partner onboarding, and market activation for targeted vertical markets and strategic partnerships
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years experience in Product Management, Payments, Banking, Fintech, or related experience
- 7+ years experience in merchant acquiring, payments, treasury management, embedded finance, or banking products
- 7+ years experience with card processing, ACH, settlement and funding, merchant onboarding, PayFac ecosystems, embedded finance ecosystems, and API-driven platforms
- 7+ years experience leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple dependencies and stakeholders
- 7+ years experience with analytics and executive presentations
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with ISVs, Vertical SaaS platforms, marketplaces, or fintech partnerships
- Experience supporting property management, HOA, association banking, or real-estate technology ecosystems
- Knowledge of acquiring processors, fintech infrastructure, and payment ecosystems
- Experience leading complex product launches or enterprise transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with Fiserv, Qolo, Alloy, or similar ecosystem providers
- Agile product development and delivery experience
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
