As a Senior Product Manager, Payments at Fiserv (Clover), you will extend Clover’s card present payments leadership and help grow the business globally. This onsite role in Sunnyvale, California or Alpharetta, Georgia focuses on shaping payments product strategy, delivering on a roadmap, and improving real-world performance through adoption tracking, operational troubleshooting, and compliance readiness.
What you will work on
- Track payments industry trends and standards, perform competitive analysis, and translate insights into actionable roadmap decisions.
- Analyze customer feedback to continuously improve the merchant and consumer experience.
- Identify opportunities for new, value-added, differentiated features for the Clover Ecosystem.
- Build business cases for payments features and new products, including evaluating strategic value, revenue impact, and operational benefits.
- Prioritize deliverables while defining KPIs for Clover payments capabilities and monitoring progress against them.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, other product managers, developer relations, quality assurance, and operations to deliver new payments functionality.
- Define requirements and write detailed user stories for payments-related features.
- Work with marketing to create marketing collateral and product marketing materials.
- Educate sales channels on Clover payments features and contribute to winning large deals.
- Monitor adoption of new features and use performance signals to guide continuous improvements.
- Help diagnose and troubleshoot production incidents, and support the robustness of the payments platform.
- Track and ensure implementation of card brand compliance changes and monitor industry certification requirements.
What you bring
- 7+ years of product management experience.
- Familiarity with payments and financial technology, including EMV, kernels, and alternate payment methods.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and influencing skills.
- Capability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Understanding of the payment industry landscape, including issuers, acquirers, processors, gateway providers, and payment networks.
- Ability to build empathy for end users, speak with customers, and convert findings into a roadmap with measurable outcomes.
- Comfort creating user stories and requirements and presenting to customers, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally on occasion.
- BS/BA in computer science, engineering, economics, or a similar technical field.
- Valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
