Job Description

The Senior Product Manager for Optimization and Licensing Assessment (OLA) will lead and expand AWS’s OLA program, turning program data into decisions through reporting, forecasting, and recommendations. The role also coordinates with third-party vendors and partners while working closely with cross-functional teams on go-to-market and product planning.

Role Overview

Own the strategy, roadmap, annual goals, execution, and delivery targets for AWS’s Optimization and Licensing Assessment (OLA) program. You will guide reporting and forecasting models that inform program investment and priorities, while aligning with partners and vendors on complex commercial agreements. This position sits in the AWS Infrastructure Migration and Modernization team within the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP).

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute OLA program strategy, including ownership of the roadmap, annual goals, and delivery targets across multiple assessment offerings, while identifying and negotiating complex partner and vendor deals.
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards and forecasting models, using insights from analytical tools to produce actionable business recommendations that shape program investment and priorities.
  • Manage the lifecycle of third-party vendor and consulting partner relationships, including roadmap alignment, incentive design, invoicing, and commercial coordination.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Service teams, Field teams, and aligned Program teams to represent the OLA program in go-to-market strategy and contribute to planning documents.
  • Collect and synthesize customer and partner feedback to inform product feature requests and future roadmap decisions, working with product and engineering organizations.

Requirements

  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of program management, workforce strategy development, or metrics-driven decision making experience.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience using analytical tools for workforce metrics and reporting.
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Master’s degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources, or related field, or PMP certificate.

Day in the Life

  • Review OLA pipeline dashboards in the morning, assess assessment volume and delivery status versus plan, and flag items requiring attention.
  • Work on reporting queries or refine forecasts for an upcoming leadership review.
  • Join cross-team strategy discussions with Product Marketing and Field stakeholders, then coordinate with vendors on incentive alignment.
  • Prototype automation using AI tools to streamline a manual reporting workflow, then continue partner coordination to keep the program moving forward.

Compensation and Location

Location: New York, NY (onsite)

Salary: USD 147,900 - 220,200 per year
