Job Description
Senior Product Manager for Vacation Rentals, onsite in New York, NY, leads the end-to-end vacation rentals experience across consumer booking and host management platforms. The role emphasizes building AI-enabled product capabilities, ownership of the P&L, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to onboard high-quality properties.
Responsibilities
- Lead the vacation rentals technical roadmap from discovery through delivery, balancing traveler focused experience improvements with supply side tooling and platform investments.
- Define and execute the product strategy for both the consumer booking experience and the host/property management experience, ensuring consistent quality across the marketplace.
- Manage the vacation rentals P&L by setting targets, monitoring key inputs, and delivering results with appropriate quality on schedule.
- Collaborate with commercial and business development teams to understand the supply landscape, identify inventory gaps, and build onboarding products that attract suitable properties on favorable terms.
- Prototype and validate product concepts rapidly using AI tools such as Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Stitch by Google, or equivalent AI assisted development environments.
- Contribute to and shape the AI agent environment by leveraging autonomous and semi-autonomous AI workflows to accelerate development cycles, automate repetitive product tasks, and augment decision making.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, and commercial stakeholders to ship high impact features on a predictable cadence.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into clear product requirements, operating with minimal information and iterating as insights emerge.
- Champion the customer by deeply understanding traveler needs and host pain points, ensuring both are reflected in every product decision.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or Business/Marketing.
- OR a Bachelor's degree in any field with 4 years of Product Management experience.
