Sr. Product Manager-Tech, Companion Products & Services (ComPAS)
Job Description
The Senior Product Manager for Companion Products & Services (ComPAS) will own the product vision and roadmap for first-party accessories, guiding cross-functional efforts to bring new accessories and experiences to market. This onsite role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, with a salary range of USD 173,900 to 235,200 per year and requires a Bachelor's degree with at least five years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of a customer-centered product strategy, roadmap, and vision, supported by comprehensive internal and external analysis.
- Define innovative, high-quality, strategic product roadmaps aligned with the team strategy and vision.
- Develop precise business requirements and user stories to inform product specifications and architecture for each product and application.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, financial returns, performance, and operational support load.
- Build internal and external alignment and buy-in for the product vision with partners.
- Collaborate with PR, go-to-market, sales, legal, engineering, and program management to bring products to market.
- Lead product launches in coordination with marketing, executives, and other product teams.
- Proactively identify and address strategic issues that could affect the team’s ability to meet goals and opportunities.
- Manage relationships with executive and working-level stakeholders internally and externally.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.

- Mid-Morning: Deep Dive and Analysis — Analyze data and user research to understand how users interact with existing products and identify opportunities for improvement, including sales data, feedback, and usage metrics.
- Mid-Morning: Product Refinement — Refine features or specifications, collaborate with designers on interfaces, write user stories for engineers, and update product roadmaps.
- Mid-Morning: Staying Informed — Stay current on industry trends and technologies by reading blogs, attending webinars, or networking with professionals.
- Afternoon: Lunch and Learn — Quick working lunch to discuss a project or challenge and gain different perspectives.
- Afternoon: More Meetings — Meet with external stakeholders such as partners or suppliers, present demos, negotiate milestones, and gather feedback.
- Afternoon: Unforeseen Challenges — Address bugs, competitor movements, or shifts in demand and adapt accordingly.
- Evening: Catching Up and Planning Ahead — Catch up on emails and plan for the next day, ensuring everything stays on track.
