JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Associate Product Manager to own end-to-end Party and Account data products onsite in Jersey City, NJ, applying data modeling and analytics expertise with AI-assisted practices across the SDLC while collaborating across engineering, business, and data stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end Party and Account data products, maintaining the backlog for ingestion, validation, storage, transformations, and distribution
- Draft epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria tied to consumer outcomes and data quality
- Specify API contracts detailing payload structures, validations, idempotency, error handling, versioning, and service level expectations
- Lead producer onboarding, define testing approaches, plan cutovers, and manage migrations or deprecations
- Review and contribute to logical and conceptual data models, ensuring clear entities, attributes, relationships, cardinalities, and shared definitions to support downstream distribution
- Define batch distribution scope and logic, file formats, schedules, delivery mechanisms, retention, reconciliation, reruns, backfills, and SLAs
- Collaborate on GraphQL schema evolution, including filtering, pagination, performance guardrails, error semantics, and deprecation/versioning
- Profile data quality, quantify issues such as missingness, duplicates, and anomalies, and validate fixes using analytics and data science techniques
- Define and monitor KPIs to guide prioritization and measure product health
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate SDLC activities such as drafting stories, test scenarios, summarizing requirements, generating documentation, and supporting analysis, with human review
- Ensure requirements address PII handling, entitlements, access controls, retention, and auditability across ingestion and distribution
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager in data or technology delivery
- Strong requirements writing and backlog management skills with comfort in agile delivery
- Ability to read logical data models and create conceptual data models with clear entities, relationships, and shared definitions
- Proficient SQL and data reasoning skills with the ability to validate data issues and fixes
- Familiarity with batch distribution patterns and GraphQL fundamentals including schema, queries, pagination, and filtering
- Experience using AI-assisted tools in the SDLC for requirements, testing, documentation, and analysis with appropriate validation
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with business, technical, and data stakeholders
