Contract Product Operations Lead
Job Description
The Contract Product Operations Lead is part of the store leadership team responsible for putting the store product strategy into practice through product operations and inventory management. In this onsite role in Frisco, TX, you will lead inventory processing and accuracy, support back of house execution, and serve as Supervisor on Duty to deliver a strong guest experience.
Role Overview
You will collaborate with store leadership to translate product strategy into day-to-day execution. The role focuses on inventory management, product actions such as pull backs and repricing, and using daily business data to guide recommendations that support sell-through and appropriate product availability for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with store leadership to bring product strategy to life in store operations.
- Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure execution of product actions, including pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
- Create a fun and productive shift atmosphere to engage team members in inventory management.
- Monitor product levels and communicate insights to support sell-through strategy and optimal product availability.
- Review and interpret daily business data and metrics to inform actions, including recommendations to store leadership regarding product focus and, for outlets, pricing.
- Participate in the store hiring process, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training recommendations.
- Support team performance through direct feedback, in-the-moment recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on learning experiences.
- Help build a respectful and inclusive team environment through supportive working relationships.
- During store open hours as Supervisor on Duty, lead dynamically from the floor to ensure guests receive technical product education and experience a world-class service level.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
- Ability to travel to the assigned store using reliable transportation methods.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
- Some experience in inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including use of business technology to complete work.
- Some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.
Job Assets (Nice to Have)
- Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above.
- Experience: Retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations experience, including reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics to guide action.
- Experiential stores (food/beverage service only): Food safety and/or liquor service certification.
Schedule / Availability
- Schedule can vary based on store needs.
- Shifts are typically scheduled for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, the schedule may include early mornings or late nights/overnights for some team members.
Work Context
- Work involves moving through the store, sometimes in the front of house with bright lights and loud music, and sometimes in the back of house with no windows or natural light.
- Tasks are completed as part of a team, sometimes independently, using a computer or other technical devices.
- Occasional lifting of boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and use of ladders to reach materials.
- For experiential stores with food/beverage service only: may involve industrial kitchen equipment and exposure to heat to prepare food or beverages.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay Range: $22.00 to $25.25 per hour, subject to minimum wage in the location.
- Target Bonus: $2.00 per hour.
- Total Target Base Pay Range: $24.00 to $27.25 per hour.
