Digital Product Owner

The Digital Product Owner will oversee Cracker Barrel owned digital properties, including web, mobile web, and native apps on iOS and Android. Based in Lebanon, Tennessee, with remote work considered for the ideal candidate, this role acts as the day-to-day business leader for these assets and drives agile digital delivery across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain partnerships with the business units served by Cracker Barrel digital properties to capture current and future digital needs.
• Collaborate with product management and Digital Leaders to define and refine processes that enable reliable, timely deployments and releases.
• Partner with Digital and Operations teams to design journey maps and operational workflows that deliver cohesive user experiences, while ensuring technical and operational feasibility.
• Work with Digital leadership to translate requirements into an iterative sequence of epics that advance the digital roadmap.
• Draft detailed business requirements that document both business and technical needs for anticipated digital experiences.
• Supervise the breakdown of epics into user stories by the business analysis teams for use by internal staff, contractors, and agency partners to achieve iterative outcomes.
• Approve user stories and technical requirements prepared by the engineering teams.
• Prioritize the product roadmap, backlog, and sprint work across multiple Agile teams.
• Assist in configuring third-party digital solutions to satisfy documented business requirements and support the Digital team.
• Lead user acceptance testing of digital features to ensure a high-quality digital experience for guests and employees.
• Produce professional team artifacts such as charters, requirements, and support documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technology, marketing, or a related field.
• Five or more years of progressive Agile product owner experience on consumer-facing digital properties, ideally with integrated commerce capabilities.
• Experience in the restaurant or retail industry preferred.
• Remote work may be considered for the right candidate.
