Job Description

Compass is seeking a Partner Manager for its Product Operations team in New York, NY (onsite). This role focuses on strategic relationship management across Real Estate Associations, MLS partners, and 3P integrated platforms, with ownership spanning partner health post-onboarding through contract renewals and integration efficiency.

Role Scope

As the partner-facing leader, you will align external stakeholder needs with Compass’s internal product roadmap. You will partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Industry Relations to support partner workflows, reduce renewal friction, and help ensure uninterrupted service for end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary strategic point of contact for external Real Estate Associations, MLS partners, and 3P integrated platforms.
  • Set up operational review cadences and feedback channels with partner executive teams to assess relationship health and satisfaction.
  • Serve as an internal advocate for partner requirements, ensuring alignment across external stakeholders and the internal Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams.
  • Own the end-to-end renewal lifecycle for MLS data licensing and Association form integration agreements.
  • Work with the Industry Relations Team on licensing and procurement to align pricing structures, contract terms, and spend approvals ahead of renewal windows.
  • Partner with the Vendor Management Office (led by Product Operations) to optimize vendor spend, identify cost synergies, and support product budget governance.
  • Monitor partnership risk indicators to mitigate churn, resolve compliance bottlenecks, and maintain uninterrupted service for end users.
  • Collaborate with the Forms & Compliance Integration operational team on form updates, administrative tooling friction, and MLS data audit requirements.
  • Support delivery of partner-related initiatives alongside teams across Product Marketing and Engineering.
  • Define KPIs and scorecards to track partner ROI and integration efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Partner Management, Account Management, Partner Success, or Business Development within PropTech, SaaS, or Real Estate Technology platforms.
  • Strong understanding of MLS data structures, REALTOR® association dynamics, and real estate form software (for example, ZipForms, DocuSign, Dotloop, Glide, etc.).
  • Experience managing key accounts, driving complex contract renewals, and coordinating complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated ownership, thoroughness, and proactivity, with the ability to deliver cross-functional outcomes.
  • Ability to translate technical and operational needs between external partners and internal Product & Engineering teams.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, including presenting to Product leadership.

Compensation

  • The base pay range for this position is $113,000-$126,000 annually; base pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, along with a full range of benefits.
  • Base pay is based on market location, and minimum wage for the position will always be met.
